Film Riot Is Fantastic

Instantly becoming a must watch!

Revision3 is on the cutting edge when it comes to internet television. With popular shows like Diggnation, Tekzilla, The Totally Rad Show and IFanboy (note that Revision3 has many great shows other than these four!) you wouldn’t expect much more, as these four shows are worth every second of your time. Of course, I wouldn’t complain if they brought out another top quality show. So…this is me not complaining about their new show, Film Riot!

Every Thursday Ryan Connolly (a Full Sail University film program graduate) hosts a new episode of Film Riot. The bases of the show is simple, a how-to trip through filmmaking from his hyper-active mind. Connolly explains how to make great effects as you follow Triune Films through production; Film Riot explores the art of filmmaking in a way you’ve never seen. Ryan is joined by cast member Tim Allen (not THAT Tim Allen) who is another Full Sail alum. Joshua Connolly is the final cast member of the show.

This show is engaging, humorous, informative and just down right fun. With only having four episodes released so far, you are able to catch up quickly. They also don’t take much out of your day as each episode is roughly 12 minutes long. This is a perfect show to watch on your coffee break. Any aspiring film-maker will find this show helpful. Even if you don’t want to make movies it is very interesting to see how you could actually make a lightsaber effect, make a head explode or break an arm on camera!
