DVD Pick: Cheerleader Ninjas

This 2002 movie stars, if I can use that word, a pretty much unknown cast, many of whom this was there first and only film. One of those cheesy movies that keep getting made, the story is this. A spurned gay teacher at one school wants revenge on a group of cheerleaders who denied his making their high school cheerleading squad. He recruits his fellow schoolgirl tough girls to go out and try to kill the cheerleaders from Happy Valley High. When physical force doesn't get the results he desires, he goes to an outside force to help crush them through the internet. The girls get the geeks to help them, often with cheesy groan filling humor. While it is a bad movie, it is one of those that is so bad that it ends up being kind of good at the same time. With this type of movie you would have figured there would have been more T&A, but it is kind of limited, thus relying more on their story telling. Not the worst movie I've seen, but it has it's moments, quite a few laughs to be had, only because of how bad it is. Not sure if there is a Dvd copy, as mine was on VHS, so hopefully the above title isn't misleading. More T&A and less ninja fighting please.

2.5 out of 5
