Scott Pilgrim vs. the World website launches with production diaries

Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) has been doing what he can to make his fans happy, posting a new photo daily on his blog. He is also taking this one step further with the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World website, which will be hosting a weekly video blog. The film is based off the Scott Pilgrim comic book series by Bryan Lee O'Malley, intended to eventually consist of six digest-sized black-and-white graphic novels. The first volume was released in 2004 and, as of 2009, five have been released, all published by Portland, Oregon independent comic book publisher Oni Press.
Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is a charming, jobless, bass guitarist for totally average garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams…literally. The one catch to winning Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) heart, Scott must defeat her seven evil ex boyfriends that are coming to kill him.
