As preparations begin on the Timur Bekmabetov helmed sequel of Wanted, all I can wonder is if we really need a sequel? Not only that, but there are reports that Angelina Jolie will be returning to reprise her role. So now I am confused, is this a prequel or a sequel?Bekmambetov told the Russian newsite RIA Novosti, "In July we will start preparation for the film. I think in the late autumn or winter shooting will be performed. The shooting will take place in America, India and Russia."
The sequel reportedly has a $150 million budget, which is the biggest Hollywood production made by a Russian filmmaker, and Bekmambetov will once again have Russian crew involved in all aspects of production.
Some really cool scenes were in the first film but it fell flat for me. The possible scenarios you could set up from the first film could be interesting, but I am still curious as to how this will work out. Hopefully they scrap the Loom of Fate from this one.

yea man this is gonna be awesome. first one was pretty sweet. i agree the loom was kinda cheesy. angelina back for the sequel = i wouldnt have it any other way
