SiM Poster: Daybreakers

Peter and Michael Spierig brought us the very interesting Australian horror film Undead (2003) and they are back with a new take on the vampire genre. In 2017, a plague transforms the world's population into vampires. With fewer humans to provide blood, the vampires seek to farm the remaining humans and to find a way to continue their existence. Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill all play vampires that must not only save the vampire race but also the human race. The film opens January 10th, 2010.
