Also starring Danny Glover as the President of the USA, Thandie Newton as the First Daughter and Woody Harrleson as a crazy man who prophesies the end of the world.

Synopsis: A cataclysmic event leaves the human race on the edge of survival during the year 2012, based loosely on actual doomsday predictions by the ancient Mayans for that particular year. The epic feature--which was filmed last year in Vancouver--was originally set to be released on July 10th, but a busy summer schedule had it pushed back to a winter premiere. 2012 also features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thomas McCarthy, Morgan Lily, and Ng Chin Han.

Moon, Taking Woodstock, 2012...

Here are the latest posters for a few of the movies opening later this year, beginning with Moon (due June), a sci-fi thriller starring Sam Rockwell and...the moon! Coming in August (14th) is Ang Lee's "dramedy" Taking Woodstock, a true story about gay interior designer Elliot Tiber. In November (13th) we'll see the launch of the latest sci-fi disaster movie, 2012, with an all-star cast that includes John Cusack, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, and Woody Harrelson.
