Synoposis: Based on Cormac McCarthy's 2006 novel of the same name, The Road is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, in which a father (Mortensen) and son (Smit-McPhee) are trying to survive amongst a gang of rogues. Filmed in three different states (Louisiana, Oregon, Pennsylvania) for a $20 million budget, The Road was originally scheduled to be released late last year, but delays forced Dimension to put it off for nearly a full year.
